We had the opportunity to do a complete interior painting job at the Buckhead house. There was quite a bit of work to be done since there were holes in the walls from nails and cracks from water damage, but our team easily got through the repairs so we could make the house look brand new again!
We repaired holes and cracks in the drywall by placing the self-adhesive mesh patch over the hole. We used a drywall knife to cover the patch with lightweight joint compound in a crisscross pattern, and feathering the edges so it blends with the wall. We then let the patch dry.
We caulked all the joints between the trim and wall surfaces to prevent penetration of moisture vapor into walls. This also helps to keep the house well insulated to ensure that cold winter days are nice and toasty and that hot summer days are kept cool and refreshing indoors.
We then applied SuperPaint Interior Acrylic Latex by Sherwin-Williams. SuperPaint next generation delivers a smoother appearance, excellent hide, and helps make color changes more vibrant. Paint and primer in one for fast and easy application. Excellent hide and durability. Rich, beautiful appearance and a lasting finish.
